Escape by Sail is proud to offer the spectacular trips listed below. We researched hundreds of tour operators, travel providers, and trips. We chose these for the creativity of their itineraries, the credentials and professionalism of their leaders, and for the sheer thrill and wonder of the regions. In other words, these are the trips we want to take ourselves.

Seychelles Sail & Serengeti Safari
We've combined the grace and awe of Serengeti wildlife with sailing one of the world's most remote archipelagos, the Seychelles. Imagine sailing this Indian Ocean archipelago after nearly two weeks of big game viewing in East Africa.

Galapagos
The Galapagos continue to inspire mystery and wonder long after Darwin's famous voyage. These islands host not only many unique species of animal and plant life, but also a number of tour operators-each with their own itinerary. We help you sort through the options and assist you in choosing the trip most suitable to your preferred travel dates, interests, and budget.

Kingdom of Tonga
The volcanic Kingdom of Tonga, "the friendly islands," remains unspoiled: the trade winds light, the anchorages numerous and tranquil. The sailing is just as easy as the British Virgin Islands - only a thousand times more pristine. 10-day, crewed or bareboat yachts available year-round.

East of Bali
Sail on a classic, 124-foot gaff-rig ketch through the island chain of Nusa Tenggara, east of Bali. Search for the famed dragon-lizard on Komodo Island. Escape by Sail is a member of America's premier sail training association and we arrange educational and offshore adventures on tall-ships domestically and around the world.

Alaska's Inside Passage
Travel in comfort through the pristine seascapes of the Inside Passage aboard this 74' mobile base camp, and explore fjords and harbors beyond the reach of any cruise ship. There are many reputable vessels with exceptional itineraries. We choose only to recommend a select few-not the cruise ship-type trips. You'll anchor in secluded bays, eat fabulous food-fresh fish, crab, wild berries, fresh baked bread, delectable pies and desserts-and have access to kayaks for further exploration.

Most of these trips require a $400 deposit with a completed application. Should your application not be accepted, your deposit is fully refundable .
